    Shadow of mordor crashing when trying to launch


    hello, I have recently purchased Middle-Earth Shadow of Mordor Game of the year edition for my Xbox one and whenever I try to launch the game, I am presented with the opening screen for around 5-10 seconds for the game to then take me back to my home screen.
    Tried various fixes (hard resets, removing account) from around the Internet (YouTube etc.) still to no avail

    Thanks, any advice/help appreciated

    Xbox One Crashing Game

    Same issue with me with Shadow of Mordor. Most other games are fine (Madden, FIFA get regular play right now), but can't get Shadow of Mordor to launch, keeps crashing back to Home.

    I've tried various combinations of uninstalling, reinstalling, with various power cycles in between, including unplugging power from the console for a couple of minutes. It has been suggested to me to leave it unplugged for 5 minutes or longer, that is next
    on my list. Hoping to be able to try someone else's disc on Monday to see if the disc itself is the issue.

    Among the fixes you tried, have you tried a full uninstall and reinstall? If not, please try uninstalling the game and reinstalling it to see if there's any change with it's accessibility. Let us know Shadow of mordor crashing when trying to launch :)
