Shaders don't appear on Minecraft iOS

got Minecraft on my iPad mini 6 and decided to download shaders/texture packs (I downloaded stay true and bicubic), they worked on my phone. But on ipad, if I try bicubic the sky just changes into a bunch of black and white dots, I've tried a lot of texture packs and nothing changes. I tried contacting support twice and they said they can't troubleshoot since they aren't made by mojang please help. I tried restarting my iPad, redownloading the app nothing works and the versions are right, my Minecraft is up-to-date. there weren't any errors when I downloaded them neither.

Since this isn't officially supported due to being third-party, you might want to post about it in a Minecraft forum. Someone there may be able to test it on another iOS device or even the same iPad model.

First, make sure your iOS is fully updated.

Where did you get the texture packs? You could try reaching out to the developer to confirm if they've been tested on iPad or iPad Mini. In the meantime, since you've already gone through the basic troubleshooting steps, a factory reset might be worth considering. There could be some leftover cache files interfering with the packs' initialization on Minecraft’s end. Unlike PC, iOS troubleshooting is a bit limited, so if all else fails, you could check with Apple Support—though they might also direct you back to the texture pack developer.

I dont think you understand, let me re phrase, they added SHADER support on the Minecraft Preview but you cant OFFICALLY buy or download SHADERS on minecraft XBOX

There are two main reasons why you cannot buy or download shaders in Minecraft for Xbox Series S:

The function is still in development. The support for Shaders was added in the preview of Minecraft in Xbox in March 2023, but is not yet available in the full version of the game.

Microsoft has said that you are working to improve the support for Shaders in Minecraft for Xbox Series S. Microsoft may add the purchase of shaders to the Minecraft market in the future, but there is still no specific date for this function.

I would use caution as it could be construed as modding the game as you are changing it. Certain games do offer mods through the game itself. Any work around would definitely be scrutinized.
