Severe Performance Issues

Having severe performance issues with Xbox One- the main example seems to be coming from Rainbow Six Siege. The game will start bugging out with audio queues getting super delayed, and then at a certain phase the game will just be stuck loading. I then
obviously will try and restart the game and then my entire Xbox just gets incredibly laggy and it's unusable. For example, this last time I then restarted my Xbox it had to restart three times. Game is becoming unplayable, keep having to disconnect and get
penalties for abandoning when i can't get back in time. The only lead i've gotten is a potential cache problem.

It sounds like you have. corrupted file somewhere. You may want to try uninstalling the game, then clearing local saved games before installing again.

troubleshooting steps for game issues on Xbox One.

If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue; we recommend performing

a soft factory reset. This type of factory reset will keep all games and applications installed, but it will remove all the profiles from the console. Therefore, the email address and password for those accounts must be known before this step is taken.
The soft factory reset will allow you console to download the latest update again. This troubleshooting step will help make sure that a system update is not affecting your console's performance. Be sure to let us know the results!

When this type of issue happens for me I fully shut down the xbox and unplug it for about a minute then plug it back in and it should work.

Have you made sure your Xbox is properly ventillated? You might want to.check.that the vents are clear and that it has access to proper airflow.

Anyone else still looking: I've noticed a reduction in the stuttering. When it starts happening if you hit the Menu button (to the left of the xbox guide button) and give the game a hard pause for just a second or two the issue will stop immediately.
