Severe harassment and cyber bullying.

I am being harassed by a man whom has made 117 accounts (and no I'm not exaggerating, I've checked my blocked list), he is stalking everything I do on xbox, so I've had to block nearly everything on my profile. He is ruining my life. I have
been loyal to xbox for almost 6 years and nothing is being done about it. Microsoft have told me to get the police involved, but realistically they won't take this seriously, and it's Microsofts problem. I am disappointed at the lack of help I am receiving,
I have revealed his main account to a worker at Microsoft, and yet I have to deal with being bullied and threatened EVERY DAY. He makes 5 accounts a day on average, and every time I blocked and reported the account. This is not fair that I am a girl of 18
years and being stalked, bullied, and harassed by a man in his mid 20s. It's getting dangerous as he has seen my Facebook (and spams that too) so I'm pretty sure he has figured out roughly where I live. This man is a sociopath, and although I'm going through
hell with him, I want to make sure NO other girl has to deal with what I am if he decides to target another. This is serious and I want it to stop. I have tried to get through it for 8 months and no one has done anything about it.

Im desperate, please help me.

There are no free Gamertag changes anymore. You get 1 chance to change it in the first 30 days. Like Ngocphi stated use the tools on your console to report and block these people. Otherwise you will need to pay 9.99 to have it changed.

It is easy to fix set contact to friends only and block all communications with the said people and file a report

As the behavior of the person you described falls on this pattern for your own security and the security of other people I suggest you to contact the local authorities and denounce such behavior as soon as possible!

 

UPDATE: He's reached 151 accounts now. I went to the police station and they know about his name and what he looks like so they're going to help track him down also. He needs to be console banned though because it's not going to stop until they do find him,
and its not guaranteed that they will. He deserves to be console banned, if he he gets a warning from the police, he'll just go to another girl he finds in a random game and ruin her life too. This investigation has been going on for FAR TOO LONG. Console.

The only thing you can do at the moment is report each and every one of those accounts for harassment if they're harassing you

 

Yeah that's all well and good but I've been doing that for over half a year... Do you not think something should have been done by now?

 

At this point Microsoft cant technically do anything, you have several options one is to call the police and file a report. However Microsoft may be entitled to share information to the police if required. The only thing you can do really is call the police
and keep your profile in the "Offline Status" or you can create a new account, however i don't believe if your a gold membership can be carried over. But you can change your Gamertag, so you can always do that as an option and if he tried adding the old one
it shouldn't go through. So that's a thought.

 

Sorry to hear it. However, if he is stalking you and harassing you on both Xbox Live and your Facebook accounts and this is causing you to fear for your safety then it is time to get the police involved. Be sure to take pictures or make copies of all his
messages that he sends you and present it to the police.
