    is there a way to downgrade the controller firmware ? if i chose to reset my xbox and keep all the games and app will it also restore the controller to factory firmware ? honestly i’ve had no issues with console even after all the updates but my controller is all messed up. it’s becoming unresponsive mid game. i was playing psychonauts 2 few minutes and ago my controller keeps on freezing mid game even the pulling out the battery trick ain’t working. my character is moving all over the place randomly while my controller is completely frozen. any work around for this ? yes i tried with another controller too it’s was working perfectly fine but as soon as i updated it to the 5.9.2709.0 version it started doing the same thing again. now i have 2 controllers which are completely unusable in some games especially psychonauts and COD. any suggestion would help please and thank you.

    Another issue may be the reported time playing. If you're looking at the dashboard for the game, some games show "time played", but it only counts for time actually in game, while not paused, etc. So you could have a game that shows an hour in your dashboard,
    but has been used for several hours.

    I have the same issues when using the Turtle Beach headphones and my controller while playing TITANFALL. Several times during a game ( with a fully charged battery pack) I will hear a extremely loud buzzing through the headphones and the controller then
    disconnects. I then have to pull out the battery pack from the the controller and put it back in. The controller reconnects when I press A. This will then occur a few mores times during a match.

    Had this issue myself several times & it's always sorted itself out after a while.

    Xpadder, JoyToKey (both work with 10) and several other programs will allow you to play any PC game with a Xbox controller. Several threads in the Minecraft forums and YouTube videos on how to do it along with where to download the profiles to save yourself
    some work.

    Charging issues with controller after Feb controller update.

    I am experiencing a problem which may be related. While I am not having any issues with it charging, I do sometimes use my controller wired. I remove the battery and connect it via the play and charge lead as my son, who is quite young, finds the controller
    a bit heavy with it in.

    For some reason, since the update, I am having a hard time getting the controller to work while wired. It lights up and the LED is solid indicating a connection. However, it will not operate the console. The only way I have found to get it working again
    is to unplug the cable, reconnect the battery and connect the controller via wireless. I have tried several leads, all to no avail.
