Several Xbox One S issues

Hi,

I need assistance. My Xbox One S has been a (somewhat) loyal console for about a year now, but it has recently developed several faults.

The first one has been an issue for the last two months, but wasn't much of an issue, thanks to the Xbox app on PC supporting streaming (but it just isn't stable anymore). Whenever I attempt to play it natively on HDMI, strange clusters of purple pixels
appear on in-game surfaces. I know it's not the game, as I have played the game before, and I'm revisiting it.

Now, that doesn't happen anymore, but my Xbox still has several problems with HDMI. It only displays properly in 640 x 480. If I try 720p, the screen goes blank and loses signal until I reset the resolution back to 640 x 480. 1080p seems to work at first,
but it frequently cuts out and the speakers make a horrible crackling sound the whole time. I have attempted to use it with another television, but it just refuses to use anything but my small TV. If I try to use it with the TV I want to use it with, it doesn’t
send a signal at all.

It's not the HDMI cable, or the TV, I have used over five different cables with three different TVs. I believe that it's the Xbox.

Today, in my attempts to get it to work, I noticed that there was a strange smell coming from the system. As I have had alot of experience with faulty hardware, I recognised the smell of overheating components.

This is the second Xbox One that has malfunctioned, and both were One S, and both failed in the same way. I don't have enough money to get a new one, and to be honest, I shouldn't have to. I've paid for the system, and I am subscribed to Gold and Game Pass.
I have been for over a year now. Please, Microsoft, don't ignore me, as I am a loyal customer, and I have enjoyed using your services for as long as I can remember.
