    Several Xbox One and COD issues


    Is anyone else having issues lately besides the fact that Xbox Live is NOT running okay even though they say it is? That issue has been going on for weeks now.

    Additionally, party chat occasionally works, friends are not showing up in the game as being "online" even though you know for a fact they are playing the game bc you're in chat with them, not getting credit for wins, and most annoying, having to reboot
    the game because it freezes if you back out of a party (say to take a break) but then try to rejoin the party. Someone really needs to fix all these bugs bc it's really starting to annoy people. Might as well go back to PS3 and get these issues for free!

    Hey there EyeRollsDefendr -

    Unfortunately you'll want to consider reaching out to the
    Online Service Center     to explore having your console repaired or replaced. I know it's not ideal, but from the issues you're describing, that is not normal behavior for an Xbox One.

    Several issues

    1. Xbox one will not recognize controllers. Have to turn on and off xbox a couple time to get it to work.

    2. Kinect mic does not work. I have went into the settings a re did them and even had a tech savvy friend do it as well and did not work.

    3. Disc player will not always read games or movies

    4. Will not always read what is plugged into the back of it. I.E. TV cable

    5. Today it would not even come on until I had to power it off and on a couple times. The powerlight was on but no picture.

    Everything is up to date. We have had minor problems since we got it few years ago, but havecompounded greatly since then.

    The smell is the issue to me. Possibly internal hardware overheating or having problems. As others have said, I would start that repair process ASAP. Just sounds like bad luck. Sorry you are going through this.

    UPDATE:

    The smell has stopped, and the system is no longer overheating. I have performed a system reset, but it still doesn't display anything other than 640 x 480.

    I'm going to start looking into options for repair.

    You should definitely send the console in for a repair. The weird smell could be a ventilation issue

    No problem i had a similar problem my xbox one s laser was malfunctioning and i took it to a repair shop paid 30 quid then worked fine can but try :D

    What power source are you plugged into? Extension cord or anything that could cause faulty issues over time in the console? As for the graphical issues, has it always performed that way, as in the resolution size?
