I don't know where to begin, today I booted up a game of magic duels and my xbox didn't want to synchronize with the clould, then I started fifa, where I had the same problem, but I was able to play online here. Probably because ea syncs with my origin account.

Then I noticed I can't retrieve any messages, I can't see who's in parties, can't join a party, I cannot go into privacy settings (it says service not available). I cannot start up my xboxapp (it says I'm not online, while I am), and I cannot retrieve my
messages on the site either, I can see what friends are online thoug

I tried everything, hard reset, nat check, different network (internet), dmz (which I was already using for nat)

I remember having similar problems when I my isp went to ip6, and then I had to disable the teredo filter. I think there must be something wrong with my account, I have no other explanation for it.

In the past I could easily contact a someone through chat on microsoft, apparently they don't do that anymore, very annoying, have to wait till monday to call someone from microsoft, or if someone here has a magic solution.

edit: I also have to mention that my skype doesn't work properly either, I cannot search any new contact and a new contact I made with on my xboxone with skype aren't synced either. Skype working with the same account (email adres) as my xbox account.

ok, I have tried these steps, but they haven't solved, I do have to mention It also takes a long time before it loads my dashboard, it says error retrieving content where I get the adds in the bottom left corner, updates, subscriptions store, mixer, community
all take a while to load, or don't load at all.

Thanks for your update. If a soft factory reset did not help resolve the issue, try an

Offline System Update. The OSU should resolve any issues with the console's operating system by loading the latest and most stable version.

I have tried the soft factory reset, I missed the part where it said, keep games and apps..., saidly the problems remain, thanks for the help though.

I have thought about this myself, but I still have one more question, if something is wrong with the os on my xbox, why does my xbox app not work which is on a windows 10 pc, why does my skype don't work properly on a third pc, and why can't I retrieve my
friends messages on the site on 4 different pc's, one with a different isp.

If a factory reset could solve all that, I would gladly do that, but I suspect it's not going to solve it and that why I rather think twice before I start such an endavour. I could be wrong though, that's why I'm asking.
