Several issues with my Xbox One (TV and some games), kills my experience

Hi to everyone,

before i came to post, I looked on several subjects and google everything i could and all my problems couldn't be solved. Here the list of the 4 mains problems I got :

• TV Decoder (Numericable in France) has huge issues. It used to work great and since a week or two, my xbox bricks the decoder when it tries to get video signal so i got to turn it off then on and re-launch TV application. Sometimes it works after few reboots
  or sometime takes hours like this morning.
• AC 4 Blackflag : dialogues during videos don't work any more : In any cinematic, when voices are recorded it doesn't work any more, you can't here them.
  
• AC 4 Blackflag : instant resume doesn't work most of the time when i come back from a shut-down : When I'm in Instant restart mode, resume a game after powered off the Xbox can stuck the game and it has to restarts ( \ o / woooooppoooop progression lost)
  
• It tries to install "Blu Ray application" and doesn't stop to tell me It stopped the installation because the elements seems damaged with code error 0x80070570
  

I know Xbox One is a whole new product and has issues developers didn't expect but right now, it kills the experience i had since few months.

I tried hard reboot (unplug the power during few minutes and re plug). Tried, saving energy mode and without any success.

About my TV provider, i tried to change the HDMI cable (without success), tried to plug directly on TV and it was working perfectly.

Hope someone will help me. I'm in France and fluent in english / french. Thanks a lot

Kinect Sports Rivals distorted music and audio

Hi

I've tried to play Kinect Sports Rivals on my Xbox One but the audio issues are spoiling the experience. I purchased the disc and installed the game several times. The sound is set to come out of my TV speakers which are fine for other games. The sound
distortion is happening on music, introduction video, coach and training sections, and celebrations at end of sections etc.

Is there a problem with my xbox one or the game? Any ideas to fix anyone?

Did the 360 have issues early on?

I didn't start playing on xbox live until Call of Duty 4. My experience with the 360 was near flawless over the course of several years. Games always loaded. Parties were simple and reliable. My controller and headset didn't randomly stop working mid
game. I have had more issues with my xbox one in one year than I had with my 360 in seven years. Everyone I've talked to on my friends list has had the same issues and is wondering the same thing.

Will theses issues be ironed out with more time?

Did the 360 have similar issues early on in it's life cycle?

Why was the 360 more simple and reliable than the newer, more powerful gaming system?

This isn't an xbox one hate thread. I'm an xbox fan. I plan on playing xbox one for several years. I'm just wondering what I should expect going forward.

 

Hi nic, try going to your settings and clearing local saved data then try re-installing again. As far as your tv issues go try re-entering all your tv info again as if you were setting your console up for the first time. Hope this helps.

 

About Local saved data, i deleted it and didn't work : /

For tv issues, i re-entered as i said dozen and dozen of times.

It really kills my xbox experience as i can't watch tv properly : sometimes in 20min i make it, sometimes hours : /.

Any other idea ?

What about un-install/re-install of your games? See if that works. As for the tv, I don't have any other suggestions other than the ones you've tried already. Maybe if you still have the receipt you can take it back and get it swapped out or maybe wait patiently
for the next available update which is next month. The Xbox One receives an update every month. May be that will fix your current problem.

 

SO i finally un-installed AC IV and then installed it again and it didn't work : /.

Now i think it gets worse : this morning the xbox was bricked : when i tried to enter an application or going to parameters, the console was almost freezing going to that application.

I'm worried about the fact my xbox one has issues. It worked all well but since July it's a mess. And it's not because of temperature, my appartment is really cool. I don't really get it.

 

I still have my issues, especially TV and my "quick start" gaming status can freeze. So it turns just useless ....

No help from official support ?
