    Xbox One NOT syncing game data

    I too am now experiencing these syncing issues. I bought the new 1TB Halo 5 guardians bundle and been setting it up this weekend and every time I put a disc in it automatically initiates the syncing from the cloud and fails. It's not allowing me to play
    any of my games now. I've tried all my disc games and my MCC digital download game. Is there a option in shutting off this syncing process? My 500GB system never did this Several issues SYNCING HALO 5 profile :(. I just wanna be able to put my disc in and play.

    Hi there, Severe punisher. We recommend temporarily
    removing your profile
    (please ensure you remember your login details before this step),

    power cycling
    your Xbox One console, and then re-adding your profile by signing back into your account.

    Once that is complete, try re-launching Halo 5: Guardians and entering Multiplayer.

    You should see an in-game message regarding syncing your Xbox account with the Halo servers. Please be careful to wait for that to fully complete.

    Did that help you reconnect to the Halo 5 Multiplayer services?

    Quickest thing to try is deleting your profile , then re download it ...that sometimes clears things up ...is that the only game that's doing it ?

    Hello!

    Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand you're having trouble with your Halo 5 profile saying that it can't sync so you're unable to play online. Have you tried playing it with a different profile just to see how
    it reacts? Try powering the console down and unplugging it from the power for at least 5 minutes to allow for the components to reset. Turn it back on and give it another try. What exact Error message or code did you receive. Let us know with a reply a bit
    more information to determine how to best assist you.

    Hey there Massive!

    Hmm, well then if you have done all of that, then it would seem that there's some discrepancy between your profile and the Halo servers. I would suggest then to see if you can go to
    Halo Waypoint
    and see if there's any troubleshooting suggested for this issue happening on that game specifically.

    Hey there Massive!

    Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue with Halo 5.

    I would say that if you haven't yet, to check out the troubleshooting steps outlined in our

    Xbox One Game Freeze Solution
    if it's only affecting that game.

    If that does not do the trick, I would suggest that you next trying a soft reset as it's a great troubleshooting step overall.
    It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

    Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
    will be removed
    ) and have easy access to your internet network.

    Also make sure that you select the option denoted
    reset and keep my games
    &
    apps.

    Follow the steps here on How
    to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One
    and let us know how that helps with the issue
