Several games optimized for Xbox series X won't launch properly.

Whenever I try to launch certain games, (I think it's the ones optimized for Series X? Old games seem fine) it flashes black then back to dashboard.

I've read through all the posts...suggestions and "fixes" and tried everything.

uninstalled, reinstalled

restarted console

held down the Xbox button on controller while launching game

reset console

unplugged cables for 2-3 minutes

cleared cache

checked if NAT was open

changed profile

and even exchanged the disc for a new one at the store ( right now it's Far Cry 6)

This also happened on a digital version of Forza Horizon 5 ...so don't think it's the disc.

I'm at my wits end here...Please, can anyone suggest something else? Do I need to send my console in for repair?

Hi,

are they installed on internal HDD?

If not - Optimized games must be on internal drive, games for Xbox One can be run from external HDD.

Thank you for your attention, I reset the console "keeping games and apps", all the suggestions I've read only said to reset this way. Should I try resetting the entire thing?

Thank you so much for getting back to me. Unfortunately It's all on the internal drive. I don't have an external drive. :-{

If I may ask, have you already reset your console removing everything? If yes and this is happening with multiple games the best option is to create a repair order for the console.
