Several controllers need repairs

I have several Xbox One controllers that need repair.

My brother has a tendency to slam the controllers on his desk in frustration when things don´t go according to his plan.

I´m sick of buying new controllers all the time due to this, and would like all my non-functional controllers repaired.

Is this at all possible? And what would the price range of such a repair be?

Or is it cheaper to keep buying new controllers?

Old and needs repair

I wouldn't pay to have it repaired, but there are probably some online guides that might be helpful if the problem isn't too complex. It's also possible that someone who repairs Xboxes might buy it from you.

 

Controllers have a 90-day warranty. So if they are within that time frame, you should be able to set up a repair with Microsoft for free.

If it's out of that time frame, it would be best to just buy a new controller. Buy your own and hide it from your brother. If he breaks his, he's out of luck.

 

I think they´re all out of that time frame. I could buy a new one, but I still want them repaired.

 

You can try setting them up for a repair, but I don't think Microsoft will fix them if they are out of warranty.

there are no repair options for the controllers / its replacement only

You'd have to setup a repair for each controller and pay for shipping for each controller and ship them individually.

And if they are out of warranty, then you're out of luck.

 

They will replace/repair out of warranty controllers so long as they are not Elite controllers.
