setups screen frozen on green

I have everything on my new XBox 1 X connected and powered up but everything stalled at the opening screen with the split ball and the words "XBOXONE" underneath. Nothing I have tried will advance me beyond this screen. I have set up the TV and it
is ready to go set for games and set on that HDMI ARC socket, the TV even acknowledged that it was an XBox hooked up to it. Any ideas? Do I have a lemon? There doesn't seem to be any preprogramming in this console

Unplugged power while updating!

i have the same thing it is stuck at 66% and it gets frozen so a reset and it is stuck at green screen

 

my xbox reboot screen is loading but my homescreen wont come up/on

my xbox one reboot green screen is loading but when it is done the home screen wont come on its pitch black like its frozen

I would try disconnecting your xbox from power for 30 seconds, then power it back on.

 

Hi, have you tried updating the console offline using a Usb flash drive ?

 

I got it after fighting with it half the night....for some reason it started after unplugging it and plugging it back in for the tenth time

 

Sometimes a console reset helps with these kinds of issues. Just hold the power button for 10sec, or turn it off then unplug it for 30sec.

Seeing that the console is brand new, honestly I would return it for a new one. Absolutely no sense in even attempting to troubleshoot it when you can get a new one
