    Setup Not Working


    My son recently purchased a new XBox One, but during initial setup, each time he enters the WiFi code, the XBox turns off and restarts. I thought he was possibly doing something wrong, but after an hour of trying to figure this out (different TVs, closer
    to WiFi, choosing different options), not sure what the issue is. All other WiFi electronics in the house work fine. This is an issue solely w/ his new XBox.

    5.1 setup HDMI not working...

    So my optical from xbox to receiver and selecting DTS digital is going to give me 5.1 surround?

    It def sounds really good when watching netflix.. but ive always thought uncompressed 5.1 under the hdmi audio setting on the xbox would give me better surround sound?

    Yeah I removed it. I just left it in honestly because I figured my EQ settings i input on the receiver wouldnt take place if i didnt have the hdmi into my tv..

    then again.. those probably only work when I use the apps on the receiver or a bluray/dvd in the receiver not the other source inputs (xbox)

    Yeah should work just fine and the stereo RCA on the component cable always carries down mixed surround so you can have the 360 set to 5.1 for the headset and not have to worry about missing the Center/Sub and Rear channels when you are recording. Guessing
    you are gearing up to buy your own Christmas gifts as the Warhead isn't even on sale yet.

    split the component cables coming out the xbox, one direct to the tv and one to the pvr or you might have some lag
