    So...I'm a European living in USA, we speak 4 languages at home so we don't really have any emotion with languages or nationalities. This being said, I set up the language of my Xbox One to Spanish since I want my doughters to deal with it...all good, next
    step. Choose your country, Chile, Argentina, México and a couple of other countries. Could not find Spain (why, don't know), anyways I needed to chose USA but is not on the list. Funny right, didn't you consider that option. Am I doing something wrong?

    If I read between lines this is a clear, obvious not xenophobia or racism but deep lack of sense about the different languages and multi plural world we live in.

    Is there any explanation for this? Just wondering before sending it to a couple of Newspapers and Webpages.

    Language Settings

    Hi,

    i would like to setup the language to "German" and the country to "Italy" how can i do this on my XBOX One.

    By choosing german as language only Austria or Germany are available as Country.

    I would also be happy with the combination "English" and as country "Italy".

    Has anyone a solution?

    Change country without change game language

    Hi there,

    I moved out from my country, which native language is Portuguese, to Poland.

    Arriving here I decided to setup from scratch my console to re-install all my games.

    But after change the country, keeping the language, some games were downloaded with Polish language.

    Is it a normal behavior?

    Even if my language setup was for English or Portuguese for example.

    I would like to know if there is a way to keep my current country and download the games with English language, at least.

    Is there this possibility?

    What is the best way to make this kind of changes?

    Sorry for too many questions but it's my first time that I'm passing for that situation.

    Sorry to say but right now cloud gaming uses your IP - physical location and set the language to the main of that country (and is not possible to change that without moving to another country where English is the main language)

    This means that for games that doesn't supports in-game language setup uses this main language as default :c

    Is your account set in a region where Spanish is the primary language? If so, that would be why.

    My gamertag shows a very big problem.

    Try this -
    support.xbox.com/.../dashboard

    Scroll down to the language and locale settings. This will let you change the language to your desired setting and set your locale or location to load more appropriate content for your country.

    Hello Hersenchimmel,

    Unfortunately the digital download version of the game will be in the language of the country it was downloaded in. The only way to change the language option (if available) is through the game's menu.

    You could also try to change your Xbox LIVE region language (if available) by following the directions written on this link
    here.

    Other than that, there would be no way to change the display language the game is available in. This would also happen with future game content purchased directly through the marketplace unless the default language for the game was English or if there was an
    option set by the developer for different languages.
