    "Setup is updating your system" for five hours


    I installed Microsoft Flight Simulator for Windows 95 on my Windows 10 machine, not really expecting it to work. Amazingly it does. Still. the setup screen has been progressing but now has been saying "Setup is updating your system" for the last five hours. How should I proceed?

    If i leave my game to update for 48 or 50 hours can this do damage to CPU or make it overheat?

    Hi man,

    If your running your Xbox for that long it could do damage to the cpu and overheat your system. I would suggest not leaving your Xbox on for that long.

    If you want to update your game i'd suggest doing five hour periods of updating instead of one big 50 hour period. Also you should make sure to keep your console in a cool area to lower the chances of it overheating.

    Unfortunately this is how MS has their system setup that you can only "share" your games and subscriptions with one console at a time and switch which console that is five times a year.

    The best thing I can reccomend is to put in the suggestion to make a change at xbox.uservoice.com

    The dashboard is setup now so it's not needed. There is no longer five or 6 tabs of content it has been reduced to 3.

    Even on the 360 the pin system out weighed the home button feature.
