Settings issue for Fortnite

When I try and play Fortnite I receive the following message.... "You cannot see content other people make because of how your account is set up. This can be changed in your privacy & online safety settings at Xbox.com." I don't know what I have turned
off. Everything is set up to allow or friends only. Had been playing with no issues but tried to turn off text from non friends and must have done something else. Any ideas what it could be?

Fortnite Cross-play with Child Accounts

Hello there. The issue might not be with the accounf but settings on fortnite. There is a bug on fortnite where you are not able to cross-play with others without enabling and it sometimes doesn’t appear in the settings

 

Need help with error code 0x80040906

I have the same problem. I have the same error code 0x80040906 and when we go to check the network settings to the internet, it is fine. We have zero internet issues within our home. Is this a Fortnite issue? It is happening when we play Fortnite.

You can adjust your Privacy & Online safety settings from the console. go into your Settings > under the "Account" section you will see an option for "Privacy and Online Saftey". and then Xbox Live Privacy > View details and customize. Then the option that
says "Game Content" you would need to set the one for "Seeing and Sharing user created content" to "Everybody" so that he can play Fortnite!
