    Hey there!

    I am a frequent user of Xbox and I have an idea to help improve its setting of a "Home Xbox". I recently ran into the problem of being locked to an Xbox as my Home that I didn't want to have as for 1 year! I change it a lot because I share my games across
    3 Xbox Ones that my family owns. I had to ask support to reset my time so I could set it to the Xbox One that I prefer to be the Home for most of the time. 3 times a year is just not enough for me! I am proposing making unlimited switches between the Home
    settings. It would make it easier for others who have big families, like me, to share and play games with friends and family.

    Not too much of a change, but it would really make a big difference in my everyday gameplay to be able to switch my Home Xbox to allow different family members to play with me!

    MS was already planning something like that before the internet went full derp about being subjected to DRM, and Phil Spencer already stated that they are still investigating a better way to share games.

    If you want to set your Xbox back to your home xbox: Go to your settings -> personalization -> My Home Xbox, and then select the prompt to set it as such.

    If you wanna set his Xbox as your home Xbox, sign into his account first, and do the steps again. Vise Versa if he wants to set your xbox as his home Xbox.

    Hi xxACE420xx,

    You can only have one Xbox set as your "home" Xbox. You should have your son's Xbox set as the home Xbox so he will have access to your games and subscriptions. So make sure your account is set as the "Home" Xbox on his and not yours. You dont have to
    set your account set home on yours and he will be able to sign into his account on his Xbox. Once his is set home you wont have this issue.

    You have to set each others Xbox Ones as each others Home Console. You have to sign in on your friends Xbox One and set it as your home console. And your friend has to set your Xbox as his Home Console.

    Steps:

    Scroll left from Home to open the guide.

    Select Settings.

    Select All Settings.

    Select Personalization.

    Select My home Xbox.

    Review the information, and then do one of the following:

    Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console as your home Xbox.

    • Select Settings.
    • Select All Settings.
