Setting up xbox mic volume option is not available in the device options

Sorry to hear there is an issue with the volume option,

Here are a few suggestions to help troubleshoot this issue:

1. Power cycle.

2. Make sure controller is fully charged/ change battery type.

3. Make sure mic is "ON" Press the home button> go to the Gear on the menu> Audio> Turn Mic off and on.

Or go to settings>Kinect and Devices>Devices
and Accessories> [...]>
Audio> Mic on>Adjust volume.

[If you are using an adapter the option may not be available]

4. Keeping the headset plugged in go to settings>Kinect and Devices>Devices
and Accessories> [...]>
Update control>test Volume.

5. Try to use a headset adapter

Does this happen with every headset/ Headphone? If that is the case, then try to contact the developer for more assistance (make sure the volume on the headset is up and the mic plugged in as well).

I cant access the volume option in settings. Wont let me select volume. Headset and mic not working.

6 at top of list is a button to turn mic on

In the xbox headset there are the Volume controls: A
volume up/down dial is on the side of the audio controls. Simply scroll it up or down to your preference. You can also
adjust your headset audio and mic monitoring by going to Settings and selecting Devices & Accessories. Select your controller and then select the audio option you want to use.

Hey, have you checked the Audio menu under the System Tab? It should be visible under the Settings option.

There is the Mic On/Off option as well as the volume for each channel.
