    Setting up headset while using a wheel in F1 2017/2018


    Just a basic question. I am playing various racing games on an XBox One X console. I use a wheel and pedal set. The wheel and base do not have a port to plug in a headset. Can I pair a wireless XBox contoller at the same time while using the wheel, and
    plug my headset into the wireless controller? I think its the same as the co-pilot feature. Thanks for any answers.

    I hadn't planned on getting anything but then I saw the Car Pass for Forza Motorsport 7 on sale, couldn't resist the price, and I got F1 2018 even though I haven't gotten around to playing F1 2017 much at all.

    Hi,

    The only "official" way to get voice/talk in your case is to use a Kinect with your Xbox one x.

    Now you can try with the co-pilot feature but not sure if it will work…

    Or you could purchase a wireless headset which connects directly to your console. The turtle Beach Stealth 600 headset supports this feature. Pros its totally wireless so no extra wires to get tangled in your wheel setup. Not really any cons as the headset
    is great quality for a reasonable price

    To clarify, are you experiencing issues with F1 2017, or F1 2018? I'm only asking because you mentioned F1 2017 in your post, but the picture you attached shows F1 2018 instead.

    - Would you mind looking up the purchase of this game on your account's order history? The purchase should show as "Completed". You can see this at https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

    Please make sure to select "Digital" and "All available" from the two drop-down menus at the top section of your order history.
