    I have set myself up as a user by I can't get past the screen for setting my kids up to play. If I wanted to play I can't get past the screen to let me play anything. It did charge my account .50 but I still can't play and nor can my kids play. This is after
    spending near $300 on the console.

    Please help

    Can't create a family account

    Bought a Xbox one s and created an account with my email. Then I saw an option for a family account and have tried to add my kids under my log in as family members but I end up in an endless loop of log in my account then try to add a kid and it says need
    an adult to add when I just logged my self in. What the hell. There is a surprising lack of info that comes with these or on these. Like they don't want new people.

    Add family member without another Microsoft account

    OK so here's something I still can't figure out on Xbox One. Current I have one Microsoft account and I use it to sign in to Xbox One. When my kids play a game that is side-by-side multiplayer they create a Guest User for another
    player. And that kinda worked until they tried playing ilomilo which is xbox 360 game and it doesn't allow you to use a Guest Account. So I went to Family settings to add a permanent user but it appears it is asking for an email address. Are you telling me
    I now have to create and email for all my kids??? This is ridiculous!

    Connecting my kids microsoft accounts to xbox

    Eureka! I tried again, after adding kids passwords and using the “add to xbox” functionality under settings/family mgmt/, i then waited 30-45 seconds, then hit the main xbox button the controller, and then was able to see that the kids had been successfully
    added. I then adjusted their access settings, and went through steps to assign each kids account to their controller. Next up i’ll try to figure out how to share games we’ve purchases across any users in our xbox.

    I have same issue for my kid, she is not able to add or join her friends minecraft and her settings are already changed to allow.

    The computer denies her from adding friends or joining other servers.

    Hey all,

    I have a laptop and a desktop in my home. My kids wanted to play Minecraft with me. We could both play on the 1 account, but it was weird so I purchased a second copy of Minecraft Starter Collection.

    I set up an email account for the laptop (kids) so we could play with different user names.

    About a week later, when I logged into my account to play with the kids, it would not let us multiplayer. It kept prompting me to buy Minecraft. When I clicked to buy it says I already own the game.

    Please help. I'm concerned my account just thinks I have 1 copy, even though I bought, too. I'm guessing I should have made another Microsoft account for the kids copy, but I'm a bit late for that. Any suggestions on how to make this work? I can't get ahold of XBox support for help.

    I am happy to help out with Horde, I just got my Season Pass so I am working of building up Horde fortifications. I do have kids so I can't guarantee they won't cause me to leave at times. Kids are more important but for the most part my kids sleep at
    night so I can play.
