    I just got the xbox one an hour ago. I'm trying to get to update so i can use the console. I keep getting an error message that the update won't work. And i can't access anything without this update.

    Setting up for the first time

    You have to press the Xbox button in the centre of the controller until it lights up.

    Also you will have to connect it up to the internet eventually, as it will have quite a large download to update the OS.

    hi all

    I've bought the Xbox one for my sons Xmas and am trying to set it up before the day so I know what I'm doing! I don't want to connect to the internet yet but am stuck on the initial screen that wants to update.I need to know how to move the cursor box on
    the to screen, I've plugged in the controllers but nothing seems to move the green highlighted box! Please help!,,,

    its pretty easy actually all the inputs and outputs are labeled. I am a fellow Onkyo owner so I can help ya out. you run a HDMI cable from the amp to the TV there should be a jack marked output or out to tv or monitor out. then plug the HDMI cable that
    goes into your 360 to the amp itself pick one of the free jacks they should all be individually labeled, I have mine plugged into one labeled GAME then just make sure the GAME input is selected when you turn it on. if you have any other issues post back,
