Setting Up an X Box One S

I am trying to set up an X Box One S for my grandchildren. I have it plugged in and it asks for my email, password, name, phone number. I enter everything press accept and it sends me back to the first screen that says sign in. There is no error message
or other explanation as to why I am being asked to reenter the same information again. I have reset my password and this makes no difference. I have done this 6 times and feel like I am living the classic definition of insanity - repeating the same behavior
and expecting a different result.

I am ready to put the X box back in the box and return it, since it has been a very frustrating experience. Any suggestions as to what I can do?

Thank you for coming to the Xbox forums for assistance, I'd be happy to help.

The HDMI IN port on the Xbox One console is used to connect your cable or satellite TV box in order to view your TV channels directly from an app on the Xbox One console. It really isn't used for anything else besides that, so if you want to set up your
cable provider box that is where you would plug in the HDMI cable for the TV box.

Follow this guide for reference if you want to set up TV on an Xbox One X console:

Set up live TV with your Xbox One X, Xbox One S, or original Xbox One console

hi thanx for the reply think the problem we are having is since he set up his new x box ove lost acrss to the games we share on my x box one wixh was fine before he set up his series x

My sons is an x box one s and mine Is just the x box one. We can't sign in to either of our accounts on both consoles!
