    Hello, I tried setting my home xbox and it keeps saying unable to save changes. I looked onto a earlier thread and tried everything on there and none of the methods worked. I've tried googling everywhere and searching, but havent found a solution. I've
    done removing and adding the account, power cycles, console resets, changing location, clearing alt mac address, clearing persistent storage, leaving the insider program and removing my account off of it, and disconnecting and reconnecting to the internet.
    Anything helps Setting home xbox :)

    Xbox home setting?

    The first Xbox One console that an account signs into, will automatically become that account's Home Console.

    If the account then signs in on another Xbox One console, you'll have to MANUALLY set that console as that account's Home Console in the Settings under "Personalization".

    So if you sign in with an account that already existed on any other Xbox One console and had the Home Console already set, you will NOT set that newly set up Xbox One as your account's Home Console.

    So you can simply set up the console for Christmas day, and make the necessary Home Console settings later, so the kids can still play on the existing Home Console until Christmas.

    I agree, unfortunately there isn't much that can be done but with some effort those options should get you sorted. Hope everything goes okay and gets straightened out for you

    I believe there's a glitch happening at the moment and wouldn't worry that it's anything your doing wrong.

    I and my brother have the exact same issue as do alot of other people.

    I believe the bug as been reported to Microsoft so let's hope it gets resolved soon.
