Setting home Xbox (2018)

Hello.

I changed my home Xbox too many times in 2017. The system told me to wait until December 31st so I did. I changed my home Xbox on new years day 1/1/2018 and I tried to change it one more time a week later and I received an error saying I cannot change
again until June because I had changed the maximum of 5 times already. I do not understand because I only changed it once and need to change it at least one more time.

Please allow me to change my home Xbox one more time at least before June.

need help resetting my home xbox

so it keeps saying you've already switched your home xbox 5 times this year.you'll be able to switch it back on 2018-06-25 and it is 2018 june 25

Why in heavens name would you have to change 2x in less then a month.

Unless you are using it in ways you aren't supoosed to

You don't need to change it to use it on other consoles you just sign in online

 

Your turns is based on the last timw.you changed however the counter doesn't reset it's the next time you can change it

Keep.in mind sharing with the neighborhood is not recommended as it poses a security risk

And sharing your account is a violation of the terms of use

 

if you want the full 5 then you need to wait for when all 5 uses are reset now since the 6nd time you use it

If you are sharing your account it's a violation

And puts your account at risk

DONT SHARE YOUR ACCOUNT even with your dog spot

To clarify a bit further, you can change your Home console up to 5 times in a rolling one-year period; each individual Home console designation resets a year from when it was originally set. They would not all reset at once, I'm afraid. There's more information
on the Home console support page that can help clarify further on that.
