  1. Setting Fireteam to public......all attempts tried via numerous online suggestions don't ...

    Hi all.

New to Xbox One and have thrown myself into Destiny The Taken King.

Trying to invite individual characters to my fireteam as i have no online friends. Invites are successful in the sense it says my invite was sent, but obviously my settings are on the default private. No matter what suggestion i try, i do not get the option
to change the setting. Wondering if i am doing something wrong or my general Xbox settings are restricting my options.

Any help appreciated. Will try and elaborate if need be if asked a specific question.

    Thank you.

    Tony

    :)

  2. Chat in destiny

I'm not in the beta program and I don't have an option to set it to public. Unless they patched the game overnight. The only option I have as far as fireteam's go is opening the party app.

I've suggested the same idea as bloosuga (possibly in the same thread). I believe Halo 2 had proximity chat so it isn't like Bungie has no experience with it. It would add to the immersion and make it easy after a public event to say, "Hey, that was fun. You want to team up for some missions?" I could see it being annoying in the tower since everybody is in such close proximity, but disable it there or it could be solved with a simple mute option.

A fireteam member's online safety settings do not allow them to view this content

I am trying to play Halo 5 Forge on PC but I can't access any online content. I get the message "A fireteam member's online safety settings do not allow them to view this content" every time. To my knowledge I don't have a children's account and nearly all
my privacy settings are as public as possible. Anyone have a fix for this? Thanks.

    online gameplay

they keep numbers low. Low numbers in fireteams, low numbers in public areas, public areas have very little of everything AI for example, areas between main locations are fireteam only, missions are fireteam only, etc etc etc.

PvP the connections are considerably worse than PvE.

Halo 5 could not find a server that was suitable for all of your fireteam

Sorry to hear it. That message suggests that some members of your fireteam either do not have the required content installed or online restrictions prevent them from playing.

Can't create or join party, error code 0x80190193

This isn't a networking error, maybe if you guys actually read everyone's reply then you see my suggested answer which numerous players have done and fixed the issue.

Again, this is an issue with the PRIVACY AND ONLINE SAFETY SETTINGS for xbox one. In particular, the safety setting for "communicating with voice and text". If this settings is set to block then you will get the error when attempting to setup a party. Please
sign in as the parent account and go to the privacy and online safety settings under "xbox settings" through the website. Call support if you need more help on how to access these settings.

My game bar doesn't save changes.

Have you attempted to make changes via the Settings in Windows 10, under All Settings > Gaming > Game Bar?

It might also be worth checking that your account is set to allow Game Capture and other things via your Xbox Privacy and Online Safety Settings. This page has instructions on how to get to those settings: https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/xbox-one-privacy-and-online-safety

Xbox one Controller identified as Bluetooth LE Xinput Device

No. This is still a huge problem. It's been an issue since these controllers have been out which is over 2 years now. I've tried numerous attempted fixes from the internet and none of them work. The controller just doesn't work properly via Bluetooth in Windows.
