    Set up so Paths auto connects?


    In the help messages it says that u can set up so that the paths connects automatically in the options. However, it doesn't work for me. Either I get so that I can choose where to connect when I place something or it doesn't make me choose and I have to
    do it manually in edit.

    I have seen some clips on YouTube where I see people getting the paths to autoconnect. Is this in the earlier version and that it is missing in the later one?

    Manual IP set up on the XB1? If so set it all to auto.

    I've tried both auto and manual. 1440 does show up when it's set to auto.

    Most routers have in their settings an option for auto switch, so it changes depending on range, or they can be 2 distinct network connections.

    So if on auto, your network might be called MYNETWORKHUB.

    But if set for 2 distinct, you'd see MYNETWORKHUB_5GHZ and MYNETWORK_2.4GHZ

    Or similar, that way you can choose which to connect to. It's not actually 2 different networks, just how it's set up

    What error exactly are you getting when trying to use your converter?

    Please check, that your video setting on the TV connection (settings / audio and video settings) is set to "hdmi" and not to "auto", as with the converter in line the one cannot get proper information to use "auto" for setting up the connection to your TV.

    If you set it up originally with auto settings, you could try to delete the connection settings from the Xbox, and have it auto detect again. I had to do that a few months ago and everything was fine after.

    As a test please try connecting direct to the modem, power off the modem , connect the Xbox, power up the modem wait 2 mins and then power up the Xbox with its ip address settings set to auto

    Does that connect?
