    Hello

    I have a problem with my new XBox One console.

    I have buy a console 1 year ago to a friend. Today I reset this console and I have connected my new XBox account. But when I want to set this console as my home console, I have an error message (on French) "Les paramètres de votre xbox principale ne peuvent
    être modifiés avant que la connexion ne soit établie avec le service".

    I don't understand the problem. What I must do for this ? Maybe because my friend didn't unlink this console with his account...

    Can you help me ?

    XBOX ONE forcing purchaser of digital game to be logged in so others can use it? (!!!!!!!!)

    You should just be able to set the console as your home console.As many accounts as you want can have the same console set as their home console.You setting the console as your home console should not affect your son having the
    console set as his home console.

    Simply follow the steps outlined here to set the console as your home console:

    Unfortunately, If you’ve made five home Xbox switches for the year plus the additional one then there is nothing you can do, but wait until 5 more switches are given to you (Usually 365 days).

    Also, please keep in mind that customer support can’t offer additional switches.

    are you sharing with someone else by chance, the only time you would need to use a switch is for a factory reset or replacement console.

    Sory for not adding this earlier but it changed itself after i changed my subscription from gold to ultimate game pass , so isn't this a problem ?
