set home xbox not working

I got a new xbox one and I tried to share the games with my brothers xbox so that I can save money but when I try to set home xbox it says "you've already switched your home xbox 5 times this year. You'll be able to switch it again on 8/28/2019" but I
have only changed my home xbox once and that was when i got my new xbox. Is there a fix for this problem?

Make sure the Xbox is set as home console, because it should be working.

Xbox Fitness problem with Insanity course.

Hey guys same error still I got an email stating I had to set my console to home console, which I think means home xbox, which I already had on... Booted xbox fitness back up and still not working

You are only permitted to change the Xbox Home 5 times within a rolling year, this means you will need to wait until 28/8/2019 before you can change it again.

You can try contacting account support and they will look into this for you, it will be at their discretion if they will reset this for you, unfortunately there are no ways around this.

To check to make sure its set as the home, go to settings, preferences. It will say at the bottom, this isnt my home Xbox if it is set as the home

Set your xbox as your home xbox, in the settings. Worked for me.

The DLC may not be installed on the other console. Go to that game tile in my games and apps (all with purchaser's account logged in of course) press the menu button and select manage. Install any tiles that appear on the right side of the screen.
