Hi, i used to sign in normally to xbox live on my console, but today when i sign in the following error appears 'service unavailable, you appear to be in a region where this service is not available'.
Is something wrong with the xbox live service? I've tried restarting, shutting down, clearing mac address to no avail, please help

It sounds like the account region doesn't match the profile info. You may want to double check this to be sure.

Thanks for the reply, I should mention that my relatives who own an xbox and live near me are able to sign in. What frustrates me is that this is the first time it happens. I've had this xbox for over a year now

How so? I didn't change anything and i've been signing in normally ever since i had my xbox more than a year ago. Only thing i did was going from one neighborhood to another
