    Service for broken One controller.


    Hello,

    I have send my contoller to be fixed as the left stick broke and it was hanging loose in the controller.

    After contacting the support in the chat I was able to send my contoller to the repaircentre in Frankfurt Germany. It took two days from my house to the centre.

    So far so good. But I forgot to put a returnaddress with my controller, so I contacted the support chat again. There I was informed that the returnaddress was not a problem and that I would receive my new controller somewhere between 2 to 3 weeks!

    For me that is unacceptable. Why does it have to take that long for a controller to come my way? So I answered the supporter that I found it unacceptable it took so long. But she couldn't help me and she would take it up with someone from a higher supportcategory.
    They would contact me within 24 hours. And they did, with a standard email that I cant reply to. But again I do get that, but it states there it could be up to 4 weeks until I receive it. Also its not mentioned how I will receive it. Is it by regular mail?
    Will it be by courier? Nothing mentioned in there.

    Now I have been playing on the 360 and the One for 10 years together, spending a lot of money and time to get where I am within the Xboxworld. But this is just too sad to be true that it takes two days from my house to the repaircentre and from somewhere
    to my house four weeks. I was expecting a lot more from Xbox and especially some personal touches here and there to get something as simple as a controller quicker to me then the standard answer from the chat support and emails I received. It was a two month
    old controller.

    So how can it be made possible to get that controller faster to my house?

    Service for broken One controller.

    Was the controller under warranty? If not it would have probably have been best to have purchased a new one. Which is probably going to be your option for getting one faster. No here can do anything to speed up their delivery time.

    I had it for two months so that would be a warranty issue. Even less than 2 months to be honest. And it is unacceptable if this really takes 4 weeks if I can get it there in 2 days. I don't live in a remote part of the world.

    I understand your frustration but unfortunately there is nothing that can be done from here. You best chance of getting anything done is by going through phone support. Good Luck!

    Well I tried the callback function in the support. 36 hours no call back. And this is no frustration. This complete disbelieve that Xbox treats their gamers this way. I have never asked for anything or complained about anything. In 10 years time nothing
    went wrong. And I refuse to believe this is an acceptable solution provided by Xbox.

    A 4 weeks deliver time for something as simple as a controller.

    Sounds like you have had 10 years of very enjoyable gaming and it is unfortunate that you are having an issue now. The time frame that you have been given may very well be the worse case scenario. You could get it back much sooner but then again it could
    take the entire time.

    My suggestion would simply be to buy or borrow a controller while you wait on yours to be returned. If you were to buy one then when yours is returned you would have an extra.

    Sorry but there just isn't much more that can be done.

    After out of warranty 360-breakings, three times, 7 broken 360 controllers, out of warranty, I can hardly say it has all been smooth sailings.

    I value your response but it does not help me. It's the same things I've been hearing everytime. Of course Xbox will not help me get this done, but I don't have to accept that as an answer, because I think some personal touches left and right would do wonders.

    As I've been saying in chat and here, I'm stunned by the fact it takes longer for a controller to come my way then when Xbox sends me a new one. Two to four weeks is not of this world. Especially for a multinational as Xbox/Microsoft.

    I have no need for a second controller and I can't borrow it from someone, because everybody that I know personally, all switched to a PS4.
