well, i am in north america too with a bomb connection and the experience has been laggy. Not sure what you guys are used too, but this aint cutting it. Pretty disappointed and it is making me disgruntled with the game.

 

If you get a host migratation, you are NOT on a dedicated server. Also some lag could come from you not being "near" a dedicated server. Dedis have pluses and minuses too.

 

I live just outside of Los Angeles, and I have one of the best connections money can buy. I think that is actually the problem. I have been reading that this game is big on lag compensation. Can anyone confirm? If accurate, that is really stupid. I should
not be punished for my willingness to pay for a great connection. I understand the other side of the argument for people that can't afford (cuz I used to be one of those people), or that live in an area that doesn't have access to great internet, but punishing
those of us that do is not the solution.

 

Yep, I agree with the sentiment here. This is a BIG issue, and needs to be rectified otherwise I may end up selling Titanfall.

By the way, for some weird reason, I notice this tremendously less in Pilot Hunter than I do in Attrition. So I've been playing PH. Not sure why one is different than the other as far as this issue goes.

 

I dont think the "lag comp" effect will make as much difference in dedi server games as it would have in host/client server games. With the dedi games, you either are connected well with the dedi or you are not, I dont think itll matter how others are connected
to the dedi. Its hard to explain, but that sounds logical to me. Maybe I am wrong, dunno?

 

EDIT--Maybe your are connected to a dedi, but others that live IN LA are better connected to that dedi and YOU are the one lagging? Not sure.

Well, I did say, "I am not sure", but maybe you are hosting the game, maybe they are closer to the dedi, dunno. I mean if YOU are the one lagging, maybe YOUR internets is the problem? Just maybe, dunno? I have great internet too, like 30 down and 10 up,
which is great for gaming, but last week I was doing terrible in Ghosts and lagging, losing connections, the whole bit. I called my cable company out nad they checked everything and my connection was poop. The started working on it and the connection at the
pole on the street was great, but I was losing that connection to the home. They checked the wire and squirrels had eaten away at my wire, exposing wires to moisture. They replaced that and boom, I was back to a great connection. Maybe check everything on
your end before screaming the lag comp stinks. Dunno, just another angle to see things.

 

My experience with this game has been smoother than anything else I've ever played. I'm always connecting to the US Midwest server and my ping is always less than 35ms.

I suspect, with dedicated servers, that connections are going to be more consistent but will also favor players with the closest geographical proximity to the dedicated server.

The worst experience I had when playing Titanfall was last night when I tried running a Twitch livestream while playing. Having Twitch streaming turned on really killed the experience in my game. Lots of lag and jumping around. Once I stopped the livestream
everything went back to normal and I didn't see any lag the rest of the evening.

 

I'm usually on 4-5 bars now they put a server close by but I've the whole lobby can be reduced to 1-2 bars if you have a few guys in their with really bad connections. Think I'm just going to leave them now. Waste of time trying to play like that.

 

^^I wonder if 2 guys lagging is the problem? Maybe you somehow got put into a further away dedi? Maybe someone is livestreaming or something like that? Theres a million things that effect connections. Leaving is one solution if you are badly connected to
a lobby. I dont know the solutions nor the answers, but if YOU are lagging, then finding a new lobby makes some sense. If someone else is lagging, I dont think theres anything you can do, nor do I think them lagging would effect you or your connection. Dunno
for sure.

 

If someone else is lagging I think the solution is to visit their profile and select "Block". Then leave the lobby and rejoin a new one.

Once a player is blocked - you shouldn't see them in your online games anymore.

 

In all the game I am in, my connection bar is either 1 or 4, but I don't notice it in the game, infect if I have a wtf death the other person is normally just about dead and they got the benefit of the doubt, i am sure it works both ways.

Still 100 times better than any other aaa fps's i could mention.

 

I can't get on Xbox Live features with the 2k 16 WWE game it says there is an empty you problem I called Xbox and they said that it it is an issue on preview program members
