Servers

Alright look I understand people have friends in different parts of the world and this makes Xbox live fun you meet people you wouldn't any other way when you finally get past screaming 12 year olds and idiots that think they're the best thing since sliced
bread. However, that said I'm gonna have to say servers need region locks I'm tired of being on my east us server where I live and have my highest ping and suddenly someone from Europe or Australia or Asia or anywhere but where I'm from come in a game and
have massive lag where they're dam near untouchable. There are games where this isn't an issue but titanfall is not one of those games when people get on the wrong servers it ruins games and it ruins fun that can be had

Its hardly a waste of money if entire regions lose trust and stop buying the games. That's one hell of a lot worse. My problem with all of it is it's advertised, and not followed through. Heists in gta, where? I watched the trailer before I purchased the
game, the content isnt in there. Ghosts advertised aus servers, they were postponed till now and still arent up. I have not been able to play a single game of that. Marketing came back for another punt before advanced warfare came in. But still, those servers
are not operating either. Even to get to these forums I crossed an ad bragging the best connections for gaming because of the servers. Right now, its one big falsely advertised lie that nobody is accountable for. Yes its a business, and not for 1 second would
I let them off the hook because it's expensive to support your own products. We get charged way more for games here and there are expensive in general. Its not like they're scraping for cash. Now halo, same deal. What can be done in these situations?

 

I agree with you mate in UK myself this needs fixing

 

Works out ok here in Australia because if our server is lagging out we can just jump on the Asia servers and they are usually pretty quick to get onto to. Just have to deal with 100-200ms instead of about 30.

 

wow this is annoying french people in the uk servers.there connection was 1 bar

 

yeah there connection one bar my connection solid 4 bar so still getting easy kills

 

But the game is designed to give easy kills

So even a noob feels good

OP - I haven't noticed this being a big problem but, if there is someone in your lobby that you don't want to play with, go to their profile and block them. You probably still need to leave and find a different lobby - but you shouldn't see that player again.

 

The game designed to have fun caters for all players.

 

If its a dedi server and you have a good connection to that server, you should be OK, BUT, this community will try anything. They will manipulate bandwidth, etc trying to get a advantage. If someone seems to be doing that or lagging really bad, just find
a new lobby, nothing else to do really.

 

I have found the servers to be pretty laggy in general. Are they really supposedly dedicated? I run 100 MB down, and I am still routinely 2 and 3 bars, and sometimes even 1 bar. I also lag out of games, or get the host transferring message (or something
like it). WTF?? I have no such issues with other games like COD Ghost, and when I played the Titanfall beta, it ran much better for me (realize less people were on, but still). Anyone else with good connections lagging badly, or just lucky me?

 

I don't lag bad I've only noticed with certain groups I'm below 4 bars I'm constantly either full bars or 1 below full bars but when there are people on the wrong servers they induce lag and then there's also an issue of cheaters plaguing this game already,
however respawn is supposed to be doing a big ban wave to get rid of them. Simply put I'm not attacking anyone I have no issues with people from other part of the world but in gaming we need to be paired with people that are inside our region for FPS games
it's what makes sure the game is an optimal experience and not frustrating. Everyone saying stuff about bots for noobs I'm not sure if you're calling me one but if so I just regenerated my first time yesterday and I have a 2.8 k/d vs players.

The word "bots" never appeared in this thread prior to your quoted text above. I'm not sure why you think anyone else in this thread is saying anything about you or even about bots in Titanfall. Are you posting in the wrong thread?

I'm pretty curious about this statement. What cheating are you seeing in the game?

 

Most games are lag free, but I tend to get matched with players from North America.
