Servers on multiplayer and marketplace

Hi guys, girls etc,

does anyone know when forza servers are gonna be up and running in the U.K, England on multiplayer because every time i try to join or create a private match, it just keeps coming up saying "cant create session". my internet is fine and every other game
servers are fine so i know its definately forza servers. if they will be up and runnng will we have to do an update via servers to xbox 1?

Another DLC region lock qestion

Games are usually not region locked. Only limitation is that you cannot buy digital purchases on a different marketplace then the one of your country as you need proper payment and billing informations on your account for purchases.

1. There is no region lock on games usually so you will not enocuter problems.

2. Multiplayer games have worldwide access to servers and are not region locked or limitated to local servers.

3. There are different offers on the different marketplaces of course as there are also region only apps and services available, especially in the movie and tv sector. Also there is the above explained limitation on digital purchases.

 

What happens to XB1 Backwards Compatibility after Dec 2016 when Xbox Live support for 360 ceases?

First people are confused of the xbox support for 360 ended in dec 2016, it just no more updates and they will not approve developers to make a game after that point so if a developer is planning to release a game they have to submit the request by that date. They will also stop producing and shipping consoles to retailers at this date

The servers for xbox live for 360 including multiplayer and the marketplace are not going down they have no end date in sight when it stops being profitable (I heard expected to be not profitable around 2020) that's when they will look at closing the servers, that doesn't mean they will close the marketplace for bc they will just remove games that are not bc and most likely live support for those titles

Can you play Forza 5 in rivals mode and see the ghosts of other drivers and set times on the leaderboards?

 

I have also played a ton of UK driver's. I have even joined a Forza 5 UK play date...everything worked fine.

 

How about what is up with the marketplace?

Two months in it still says coming soon....

 

I have not heard anything to date.
