    Safe to assume this game isn't utilizing MS servers? See so many low level pings and have been disconnected twice.

    it has been messed up all weekend and we r missing the double xp they need to extend it or do it next weekend

    Ditto, I can't get on to defiance. Their staff are saying it's the Xbox Live cluster. So it's an MS problem again. Yet another weekend without my gaming fix! I'll be ringing MS customer service tomorrow to chew someone's ear off!!

    I would have to agree they are not using dedicated servers from what i saw last night its peer-to-peer which gives people host advantage/ability to lag glitch/etc... For CoD being a big feather in MS hat they sure can't give them (Activision) enough money
    to use the MS Dedicated servers and make this game awesome...hope they turn on the ability to do digital trade ins soon so i can trade this one in...never again will i own or play a cod game. BOII still the best.

    If a gamertag shows up like that, then it is on the servers so you can't use it. Even if it's not being used on the 360, it could be in use elsewhere on Microsoft's servers.

    This week I've been banned for...

    I've never had any problems being banned from servers in my region. I've been kicked one or two times for using a shotgun in a shotgun free server & for using an assault rifle in a pistol & knife server. Actually, everyone in the server was kicked because
    the admin came online & found us all using everything but pistols.

    But being banned for breaking free of a spawn trap... Thats low.

    No. Even if it is not being used on an Xbox, it may be in use somewhere else on Microsoft's servers.

    I have the preview update and the game works fine.

    The problem is the fact the game uses EA servers.

    EAs servers are renowned for being unreliable.

    Its a pity the game doesnt have the option to use the Azure servers instead.
