    I just wanted to bring this issue up and see if anyone else has had the same problem because I haven't heard anyone talking about it. Ever since I received the NXOE update in October every multiplayer game's servers are artificially down by the NXOE dashboard.
    At first I thought maybe it was just an issue since I was opted into the preview, but I'm still having the same problem. Halo 5, Battlefront, Black Ops 3, every game will say that the servers are down when they're not, and the only solution that I've been
    using is to reinstall the game every time I'd like to play because that'll bring the servers back up temporarily until I leave the game again, but that doesn't even work anymore as of the past three days. My connection is fantastic. It's just my Xbox, and
    this only started happening when I received the NXOE. I've never had a problem playing online before this update.

    Good and bad I guess...if you have other wireless devices that work fine , it may be a problem with your xbox's wireless chip , support would probably have you do a factory reset....or you could try and change the wireless channel...I HATE wireless connections
    and if it were me I would run cable to it , Ethernet cable is very cheap if you get it from the right place and iss by FAR the better connection...

    Yeah, everything else works fine, it's just my Xbox. I've been wondering if maybe I had a faulty wireless chip because the funny thing is is I got the Halo 5 console and this NXOE update at the same time, so I wasn't sure if it was just my Xbox or this update
    or both. I would factory reset, but I'm afraid of losing the Doom beta that I just downloaded. If I factory would that show up under my games that are ready to install?

    I'd really like to get the wireless working properly again because I can't really make the wired connection work because I have to keep my Xbox in another room from my router.

    Thanks in advance. I really appreciate any help.

    What type of modem and router are you using ? The update seemed to affect lots of people that have isp issued equipment , if you post on the "connecting to xbox live "section , we can troubleshoot it...

    not sure on a factory reset as far as games but I'm sure everything will be available , xbox in another room ? it may require a little effort (and a drill ) but if your house has an attic , crawl space or basement , I assure you it aint no big deal to run
    cable, ive hid cable behind moldings , under carpet , through closets , in extreme cases , back outside and around to the room that needs it ...you could also try and change the channel on your wireless and set it up again...

    this link will tell you how to get into and change all things on your modem , the ones that may help are the wireless channel , port forward and DHCP reservation (the dhcp has fixed a couple here lately )

    Is there anyway to try it wired ? Move xbox closer just to test maybe ? That would tell us if its a just a wireless issue or not...
