    Server issues with Halo Infinite


    Hi, I've been trying out Halo Infinite on PC via Steam for the past day or so but have been running into a problem where it seems like I don't have a very good connection to the game's servers despite having a strong internet connection. I often can't access the customization menus at all, and it will often just show me as being offline on the main menu. I've tried reinstalling, verifying file integrity to check for updates, restarting my computer, and double checking that my Microsoft profile was connected, to no avail. In contrast, while Master Chief Collection is a bit slow to connect, I can still access everything on that game.

    Anyone have similar problems or solutions?

    Hi Christopher,

    Unfortunately this did not seem to solve the problem, the game just indicated me as being offline.

    I'd say it says I'm offline about 30% of the time, 60% of the time it says I am online but I cannot access anything anyways, and only 10% do I seem to be able to access game features, with some fairly long load times and input lag.

    Hi there Avian welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Okay let's see, I suggest you try this:

    Open the Settings app it is the gear in the start menu.

    Open Accounts

    Click Sign-in Options

    Scroll down to Privacy

    Uncheck "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update and restart."

    Restart your PC!

    Latency on xbox series s is a lot more than on the laptop

    As Halo Infinite multiplayer is peer to peer, your issues are either with your connection, or your connection to the other players. The server is used to bring your together only.

    nope . apparently every game which uses xbox gaming services for multiplayer , like halo infinite for me. i can't connect to halo servers at all.
