Seriously think Xbox One games are to expensive!

The price of retail xbox one games are absurd! For example, the new Battlefield Hardline is coming out at £60.00! Thats a £20.00 jump from average price Xbox 360 games! This is a disgrace and feels like extortion!

Simple way is just to not buy xbox one games. But I love xbox so..

No doubt I will keep playing but paying over £50.00 for a game is just unfair to be honest. I just checked Battlefield Hardline's price on amazon (USA) and it is 60 USD, which is the same as £35.00! UK retail pricing for games is unfair, untrustworthy and
simply mad.

I'm in the US, so no, I don't think they are too expensive. They are the same as last gen. But, for those across the pond, yes. You guys are paying way too much for games and I think if MS really wants to target the UK and EU markets, they really need to
take a look at this. It's absurd you guys have to spend so much more over there.

And I totaly agree, digital games should be much cheaper than disc based games.

 

You must of been looking at a special edition or something because I just looked it up on the UK Amazon and it's listed at £45 + free delivery. Video game prices have not gone up.

I don't know what to tell you then, just buy it off of Amazon? I'm sure if all of the UK raised their prices on games and nowhere else did it would be all over gaming sites would it not?

 

The prices fir games have gone up fir the Xbox One because it's more expensive to develop for. As the user base grows the prices will fall back inline withe the 360.

The same thing happened with the 360 when it was released.

 

Not the in US they haven't, still $59.99 like it's always been.

 

Yeah I looked at BF4 the other day from the store and it was £54.99. Surely the digital version should be cheaper.

 

may i suggest u use simplygames. they are UK based and very good and cheap. I am happy with paying the extra price

 

Games in NZ can easily cost around $100 sometimes almost $130 for the special editions. UK$1 = NZ$2 roughly. It's to do with currency conversion, tax, and how much it costs to develop the game. I had to pay NZ$24 just to get enough tokens/credits to buy
a pagini car in Forza 5. Xbox is kind of like a "premium hobby" so you do have to fork out money to enjoy what's on offer.

 

For the people that want to buy the hard copy and reselling them a higher purchase price would mean a better resale price. So not bad for everyone

Game have BF Hardline for £47.99 at the moment, in fact, nearly all the Xbox One titles are under £50.

 

Yea I see that, but some stores are selling it for £60.00 for the original (When I was checking Game I didn't see it was the Deluxe Version). Obviously that you have pointed that out I have no problem paying £47.00. Just any game that is over £50.00 I think
is just stupid.
