  2. I called Billing Support, then was put through to xbox support, then to a Supervisor. They can see there is an issue on my account and stated maintenance was occurring on the website which is why I got an error when trying to change region - which is what
    they advised me to do. They said would email me, keep in touch to get a resolution - no email..

    I checked the Locale on my Xbox One as requested while on the phone and this is set to UK. This will allow me to purchase now and use the GBP credit I have. The XBox 360 console however - is set to UK Locale too - but showing USD and won't allow any purchases.
    I cannot use my account online via a pc/laptop in any way at all still.

    A little further to resolving, but not a lot. Thanks for all your advice

    This is how region works in a Microsoft Account:

    KEELS76, since you mentioned that you're from UK, in case the system created another billing account in your Microsoft Account Email then there's a possibility that you have updated your billing info using a different region's address or you've redeemed
    a currency stored value that is different from the currency that you use in your region. For example, "$" while in UK you use Pounds, right?

    In case what you see on your end is a US Marketplace then there's a possibility that the billing address that is currently activated was the US billing information. To change this, all you need to do is sign-in your Microsoft Account Email to
    http://account.live.com > Go to: Payment & Billing > Go to: Billing Information > Located on the upper-left of the screen can be GB - Personal Account or US - Personal Account. If it's in US then you need
    to click this and change it to GB - Personal/Business Account. Then you need to make sure that your billing information for GB is also updated. After doing so, you will need to save the changes by clicking the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

    As for your console, even if you redeemed a US Dollar currency, as long as your console is an Xbox One (which is a non-region lock console), you will just need to change your locale to US and as what I have mentioned above, you will need to change your Region's
    Billing Account to US and make sure that your billing information here is also updated and should match the US region. Therefore, the address that you would need to input here should be for the US.

    If you cannot enter uk details then you need to work with billing support

    Or use commerce.microsoft.com and select uk

    There is a solution however we seem to be confused about your situation

    Assuming what you did

    You migrated to uk correct using the region migration tool

    Not the console locale

    If you used the tool that way then you shouldn't have an issue

    I think you are mixing two different issues

    For websites purchases you can use the gbp credit for xbox one purchases

    For 360 you can only use currency on the 360

    The 360 webmarketplace can only use credit card or bankcard not currency even free accounts
