Serious External Hard Drive Issues for Xbox One (SOLVED)

i really hope i helped you guys please provide a like i found this out on my own trying to solve this ongoing issue

I am finding this as well. playing video. and after a while hard drive gets dropped its annoying. Seagate backup plus slim.USB 3.0 1 TB external hard drive.

I'm also having this issue after the most recent update.

Here's the enclosure I use: Mediasonic ProBox K32-SU3 3.5" SATA Hard Drive Enclosure - USB 3.0 SuperSpeed, Optimized for UASP & SATA 3 6.0Gbps hard drive transfer rate

Here's the SSHD I use: Seagate 2TB Desktop SSHD SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive (ST2000DX001)

Had not had any issues until the recent update. It hasn't been moved, unplugged, or anything else since I ordered the drive and enclosure since last Nov. All my games(and saves) are installed on this drive.

I have a WD My Passport Ultra 2TB drive that I got after Christmas. It has worked fine until these last two days, I'll be playing a game and in about five minutes or so it crashes to home screen and a few moments later tells me "External Storage Is Ready"
I'm not sure what the deal is. I guess for now I'll purchase a new USB cable and see if maybe the one that came with the drive is just faulty.

Same problem here for the past month and a half with a Western Digital 3TB. It worked fine for a couple months, but then really went downhill.

Same deal with the "External storage ready for use" pop-up happening constantly, cutting off gameplay, etc.
