For me, what really ruins FM4 is the AI... That, and the game just doesn't feel serious. While GT5 itself was somewhat of a letdown, it's still a serious racing simulation compaired to FM4. With GT5, things like trie selection & wear come into play, as does
weather (on some tracks). Pitting is necessary and must be taken into consideration & planned, as fuel consumption is a factor. During the races, the AI not only races the player, but each other (and the track), where in FM4, it's as though the computer AI
is there only to block the player. Racing in GT5 feels like a race, while FM4's racing feels more like a
sloppy smash 'em up.

I am not that high on skill, and play for the fun of it, nothing serious, I am to old for that(50). still want me to add you?

As for the online, I couldn't say. The tracks however are all real-world (no fantasy), with most being closed circuit racetracks such as Sedona & Laguna Seca and a very few being street circuits like the Amalfi Coast & the Bernese Alps.



You should actually reconsider your stance on not racing A, B, & C (along with D, E, & F) series cars, as this is a large part of the game that you will have to work your way up through (if you play career and want to build a stable of cars). Besides, the
lower classes are in many ways, more challenging & a lot more fun. Unfortunately, you'll also have to play through childish crap like Top Gear automotive bowling. If you're looking for a serious racing simulator, FM4 is probably not for you, especially if
you're used to more grown-up simulations. As I said, I can't speak for online, but the actual one player racing is extremely sloppy, thanks to beyond abysmal AI, no meaningful tire wear, fuel consumption or races longer than a handful of laps. FM4 is basically the
kiddy pool of racing sims. It's a lot of fun if you like customizing & painting though.
