Series x wont connect to series x game servers

Problem started a few days ago when i was playing elden ring, i couldnt connect to to the game servers. At first i thought it was just an update issue but then 3 updates went by and i tried to trouble shoot. I opened ports on my router, power cycled my console many times, uninstalled and reinstalled. I do in fact have a open nat type and i can talk to people online just fine, can still use youtube and netflix and any games that are not series x enhanced. So far ive tested elden ring, destiny 2, dead by daylight, and borderlands 3. I cannot connect to any of these games servers despite having a great connection, i can however connect to games like smite and halo mcc. I tried my old xbox one console and played these games just fine so i am wondering whether or not this is something i can fix, a solution i overlooked maybe, or if this is a problem others are experiencing that needs to be fixed in an update.

It could have been that the factory reset fixed the game, more likely than the DNS address change. Is everything working correctly on your console? Make sure to test all games that you can, and not just the ones that were having issues.

Just did it. No luck. Ive already tried all of these solutions btw, Ive been at it for days.

In that case, let's try a few things. First, follow these steps:

1. With the console on, press and hold the Xbox button on the console itself until it shuts off.

2. Unplug it from the wall for 30 seconds.

3. Connect it to wall again.

4. Turn it on.

5. Try to run the game and see if the issue has been resolved.

If the same issue keeps happening, try to change the DNS address on your console. Go to Settings > General > Network settings.

Select Advanced settings from the Network screen options.

Select DNS settings.

Select Manual.

Enter the DNS settings. (8.8.8.8 for the primary DNS server and 8.8.4.4 for the secondary).

Restart your Xbox afterwards and check if the game works.

To be able to help you, we need to gather some more information. Do you get an error code when Elder Ring fails to connect to the servers? Also, have you tried to use an Ethernet connection between the console and your router?
