Series X won't connect to 5GHz wireless connection

I've been using my 5Ghz wifi connection on here for the couple months I've had the system with no issues. Then last night, I decided to switch my power settings from "instant on" to the eco mode. Not sure if that has anything to do with it but today, I go to play and my console isn't connecting. I tried setting up the wireless connection with my password but everytime it comes back and says "Can't connect. Check your network name and password and try again." I know this is the correct password as it works on both my phone and my laptop.

I then was able to successfully connect to my 2.4GHz connection which uses the exact same password. However, when trying to play an online game, my connection wasn't good enough on 2.4 to actually play. I've power cycled my xbox three different times now, and restarted my modem several times. I'm not sure what to do.

Edit: Now my xbox won't accept my password for 2.4GHz either despite it working fine on my laptop and phone. I even just checked to see if I could connect on my original xbox one and it works fine.

    :)

Series X won't connect to 5GHz wireless connection

I use band steering on my Wi-Fi system so that there is a single SSID so depending on the device it uses what it supports

My XBox Can't See My Wireless Network Anymore

I don't think its the case but I'll ask anyway, does the Apple use 5Ghz wireless or just 2.4Ghz? If it does 5Ghz and it is set to 5Ghz only it won't be able to connect

Xbox slim wireless to ASUS RT-N66U works very poor.

My Xbox One won't connect to the 5GHz band of my Asus N66U wireless router.

    Won't connect to 5ghz

    Hey there Russian Hacker4,

It's possible that your router has too many devices connected to the 5ghz channel which is kicking you off it. Are you able to connect to the 2.4ghz network and does that help? Wired is always the most reliable solution if you're able to use that.

Pointless since no real support but can't access my Xbox Series X or S since 24hrs and nothing works

Wired connection for the Series X and wireless for the Series S. Doesn't seem to make much difference.
