    I’ve had a Series X since July this year and I hadn’t tried to play online until now when I purchased Street Fighter 6 about a week a go.

    So I tried games like Halo and while it lets me start a match it is laggy and crashes on me.

    My NAT is set to Open.

    I have Sky Broadband and I’ve been speaking to them continuously and they say there is nothing wrong at their end, I’ve had an engineer out to check the system, and they have also changed my router.

    I also turned off the Sky shield.

    I have done port forwarding.

    I have all the settings enabled or allow on online privacy and safety.

    My series X has no problem downloading games.

    My series X is connected via Lan on a network switch which also contains my PS5 which a has on problems.

    I have tried to change the ethernet lead and port on my network switch.

    I connected the series x to the hotspot on my mobile phone and while my NAT was set to restricted I was able to play online with no problem..

    Sky keep saying there must be something wrong with my series X.

    I am at the loss.

    Is there anything else I can try before contacting Xbox.

This could explain why you can play online with your mobile hotspot, but not with your router.     - Have you tried resetting your console's network settings? You can do this by going to Settings > System > Console info > Reset console > Reset and keep my games & apps.

    - Do you have a Game pass Core/Ultimate Subscription that is required for some games to play online?

    To fix this issue, you could try updating the firmware of your router and your network switch, if possible. You could also try changing some settings on your router, such as disabling IPv6, changing the DNS server, or enabling UPnP.     A. I tried that, didn’t change any.

    A. I will have to talk to Sky Broadband about firmware up dates, but it’s a brand new box and they say they keep it up to date.

    A. All normal and correct.

    A. I have tried this, but it didn’t work.

    Q. Do you have a Game pass Core/Ultimate Subscription that is required for some games to play online?

    A. I have Game pass Ultimate which is up to date.

    I’ve tried disabling IPV6 with no affect.

    My UPnP is enabled.

    I will have to look in how to change DNS server.

    I think this is something to do with Sky Broadband no matter what they say..
