Series X: Update every game on the console.

Hi,

I have read that "Keep my games up to date" only applies to games that have been played in a 30 day window. I want EVERY GAME UPDATED in 1 shot.

I was playing on Xbox live with some friends last weekend and let's play "XX game"(2-3 year old game) and there was a 7gb update for the game. Then tried an old COD game (Black ops 3), and it had a 20gb update. I have "keep my games updated " enabled and all the settings so the system is in standby to download in the background but, this still happens.

I want to update every game that is on my console, maybe a 1 time thing so I can do that once a month a month.

Maybe the game I played last week is updated but, one I have not touched in 3 months is not. This is very painful to deal with and by the time the game updated, I don't want to play it any more.

That would be a symptom of not having standby enabled.

Then it'll check for updates at set times

There is no 30 day limit, I have games I get updated with new achievements but I haven't played in six months that will show up on the list.

Updates are not pushed, so they wait for when your console checks in. You should also know that with a recent system update, all Xbox consoles have been sent to power saving mode, so you need to reenable standby, Which could be the cause of your games failing to update

I will check this but, I checked this over a week ago and still have this issue.

Even when I go to Apps and games and select updates, I click search for updates after this, there is still games that ask for updates when trying to play.

This is not working fully for me.

And even after the new console is out and if you still have the one X they said something like if you buy a digital game that is on both consoles when you upgrade to the series X that digital game will update to the series X.

Same it has to be a bug in the update I have a series x as well and my usb hdd works on every other device I have except for my series x now since the update
