    series x ssd games wiped.


    So this happen to two drives.

    A 128 gb ssd patriot burst and 1024gb ssd hikvision.

    I have connected it up to my windows 10 laptop and can see the drive in disk management, but it is un allocated. I wonder why this has happened, Could it be due to removing the drives while the series x is on?

    Is there anyway to get the information back, as it could be a while to download all that data.

    Well i obviously know that. But you can see if a drive is in use or not, with another file format system in Disk management.

    Lol. Where you got auto reformat from, i never know
    It was working when it was plugged into the Xbox...you plugged it into the PC and it didn't work...logically, to me anyway, that points at it possibly doing an Auto-format as a reason.

    If the drive has been wiped, there isn't a way to recover the games. You'll have to redownload them individually.

    Ah I got it working now.

    In fomratting i saw mbr and i think its gbr, so i chose that.

    the pc won't see the format of the drive as the xbox is formatted in a way that windows wont see automatically so the drive will be unallocated to windows.

    The point i was trying to say. If it was working and formatted for xbox series x, and then went bad. The logical thing to do, was check to see if i could see it in disk management on windows.

    With Pi os you can see the image, but not access the drive. The same should b true for xbox i would assume.
