    Series x shutted off while using quick resume


    Hello.

    I had my series x since launch, finished many games on it included cod and valhalla, never shutted off until today, what happened was that i started valhalla with quick resume, the pics froze and the console shutted off during the quick resume loading. Had
    to use the button on console to get it back on.

    Do i have the known shutoff issue, or is it something with the new quick resume function?

    Wonder why it decided to shut off vs throw me back to dashboard.

    Hi, when you open the game in your Series X. The game starts from the quick resume / the quick resume feature is used?
    Or did you open the game from the start?

    Xbox Series X - Quick Resume Issues

    No settings need changed on your end. Since Series launch MS has been tracking issues with Quick Resume. Some titles have had quick resume deactivated while they investigate.

    Quick resume isn't a xbox one feature it's a series feature

    You can expand the internal memory in a series x by using the xbox storage cards

    As they are nvme

    You cannot use a mechanical or ssd drive

    Yeah it doesn't always work. Thankfully games already load fast. I'm sure it will get better.

    Remember though, it only works on games that are installed internally or on an Expansion card. USB external drives can't use it.
