Series X Shuts Down Playing Warzone

I've done all the suggestions I've found on forums and websites. Changed the cord, plugged into wall instead of surge protector, purchased an external fan, layed Xbox vertical and horizontal, reset the Xbox, Uninstall and reinstall game..

Nothing has worked. Sometimes I can play game for 30 minutes.. other times maybe an hour. Don't understand why only with Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare.. that my XBOX Series X will shut down.

Any help/solutions would be great. Thank you!

Mine keeps shutting down affer a few minutes of playing Warzone. I now have a Series X which does the exact same thing though, so could be a software issue?

Seems like you have performed all the necessary steps. Since this is only happening with just one game, you may need to reach out to Activision in that way they can check and perform advanced troubleshooting steps.

Thanks for the help. Activision website didn't do much. All it told me is pretty much what I've already done.

"Games can freeze or crash during gameplay for a variety of reasons. When the game freezes, you will need to quit the game and close the application, and then restart the game. In some instances, you might also need to reboot your console. If the game crashes, you will typically get kicked to the dashboard where you can simply restart the game."

That's about all it gives me information wise. Very frustrating. Never had issues like this on the XBOX One, so that's why I keep thinking it's an Series X issue. I've only had the Series X about a month. But again just played Madden 22 for several hours no issues. Jumped on Warzone and console restarted within 30 minutes.

All games i play randomly shut off for 1 or 2 seconds but only games . I could watch Netflix or anything else and nothing wrong but as soon as I start playing it randomly shuts off and come back. Don't know what to do I've changed 3 tvs thinking that it was the Yves but it can't be that all TV's do this so I'm now sure that it's the Xbox. The problem is that it could be the HDMI cable or the system is protecting itself. The TV's where Hisense u8g then the tcl 6 series so i went with a better brand and got the Sony x90j and after a month it's doing the same as all the others.
