    Series x shutdown. Not even Troubleshoot menu accesible


    Yay. I received my series x today. Downloaded some games, copied some games from the external hd. Signed up for alpha skip ahead again. Played some bright memory and enjoyed it. Then the Xbox turns off in the middle of gameplay. Controller is not synced anymore. Power on via the button on the console. The sound of the button is audible. The light of the button goes on. And off again. Ventilator doesn't spin. Nothing happens. Tried different power sockets, a different cable. Unplugging all cables. Waiting. No joy. First round of customer support (not) tells to press and hold eject + pair and then power. Hold the eject and pair for about 5 to 10 seconds. And it should beep twice. And some nice troubleshoot menu should appear. Where you could reset the Xbox or load some new os via USB. Unfortunately my Xbox cannot even load this troubleshoot menu. So I'm waiting in a cue since two and half hours for a real person to talk to. Currently in 9th position since half an hour. I hope you have more luck with your Xboxes.

    Cloud Sync not working

    Hi, I have the same issue whether I close the game down & leave the Series X on, if I shutdown the Series X or leave the game running, it's always the same message. And yes, auto save is selected for all options (travel, pause etc...).

    I've tried all the troubleshooting steps as detailed & I still have the same issue.

    I'm genuinely at a loss here...

    Please if you are using a wireless controller, try using the USB cable, if with the USB cable the sticks are not working please use the d-pad to navigate the troubleshooting screen

    When I want to disconnect the electricity from the device, I turn off the device completely through the settings

    You should not disconnect the power from the Xbox Series X while it is in sleep or shutdown mode even if the fan does not rotate ???

    I have experienced this issue with the last 6-8 Alpha Skip Ahead OS previews.

    I've reported this issue using Report a Problem several times on my new Xbox Series X.

    It always occurs after restarting console from Instant on.

    A simple restart of the console from the Power menu or a Full shutdown resolves this issue for me.

    Xbox Series X randomly shuts off

    Hey Geri,

    I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with support on the 11th going through all the troubleshooting procedures. Everything from disabling automatic shutdown, to uninstalling and reinstalling games. This doesn't include the 2 days, I spent prior to this troubleshooting it on my own. I eventually gave up and sent it in to be serviced. It's just incredibly frustrating being that this is the second series X I've had to send in for repair for shutdown related issues in 3 months. What's the point of spending $500 on a console if I have to spend $15-$30 every 3 months to ship it out for service?
