    Series X shutdown issue


    My series x has had the issue of shutting off. It is strange in the fact that it only shuts off on the home screen but never in game. I have tried everything that was recommended to me such as resets,updates,etc and nothing has worked The console also will also not go into instant on mode. Once you turn off the console the controller wont work to turn it on, you have to press the power button on the console to turn it on. The console works fine playing games. Any help would be appreciated.

    - I also recommend trying the solutions below.

    Try testing your console on another TV or Monitor if possible

    Change the HDMI port your console is connected to the tv and also the console itself

    Try plugging the console directly into the power outlet, without using a line filter

    Try testing the console on another power outlet

    - If none of the above solutions solves the problem, I fear it may be a problem with the console that would require a repair or replacement of the device. For this you could activate your console warranty by following the instructions in the article below.

    All discs not working on Xbox One

    I've had recent issues with noise and disc drive not being recognised on my Xbox Series X and the only way I found to stop this issue is to do a Full shutdown of the console and restart.

    Settings>System>General>Power...>Full shutdown.

    Its worthwhile removing power cable from console for a few minutes after you shutdown before you restart.

    Also, eject the disc before you shutdown.

    Cloud Sync not working

    Hi, I have the same issue whether I close the game down & leave the Series X on, if I shutdown the Series X or leave the game running, it's always the same message. And yes, auto save is selected for all options (travel, pause etc...).

    I've tried all the troubleshooting steps as detailed & I still have the same issue.

    I'm genuinely at a loss here...

    How long xbox 360 servers is open?

    I dont think they'll shutdown the servers just yet, especially with Series X having retro compatibility.

    Also the game servers are hosted by the publishers most of the time.
